Our independent Customer Advisory Panel draws on the knowledge and experience of community organisations to represent the diverse interests of the community and residential, industrial, commercial and rural electricity consumers.

The Customer Advisory Panel is an important part of our wider consumer consultation and engagement as we develop our future network investment plan for our customised price-quality path (CPP) application in June 2020.

The Panel brings together community organisations, consumer advocacy groups, local Councils and sector participants with Aurora Energy employees to share insights.

The Panel will advocate for you

The Customer Advisory Panel will provide a voice within Aurora Energy about the groups they represent. The Panel will have the opportunity to influence Aurora Energy’s decisions for their communities and organisations by:

  • Advising on and representing the perspectives and preferences that are important to consumers, including service measures
  • Providing meaningful input into Aurora Energy’s proposal for a customised price-quality path application, including its future investment plans and pricing options
  • Advising Aurora Energy on the possible impact of new technologies on electricity users
  • Providing feedback on communication and engagement strategies to enhance Aurora Energy’s communication with its community, consumer groups and electricity consumers
  • Providing input into Aurora Energy’s customer service process improvement ideas.
